I've searched for this but I couldnt find any real instructions or details. A lot of the search results said "No posts exist in this topic".
ANyways, I'm tired of my climate control breaking. I know there are those faceplates for sale but my buttons are all stuck/broken anyways so it doesnt really help
I found a few pictures of the Accord controls in a CRX but I couldnt find any details on how to install/wire it up. I noticed the tabs on the accord one are on the top and bottom where the CRX ones are on the left and right sides.

Who's done this? Is there a link to a write-up or something?
Thanks in advance

i remember seeing that, its very cool, but he had to mod the electronics a lot, since there are differences in the number of speed settings that control has compared to the civic, as well as other differences.
in other words youd need more then just that front panel to make it work:
but you've rekindled my interest in this subject, and im looking for the thread now

ok aparently all archived content is broken or the search feature is malfunctioning, but it was in a thread where someone was crying about their control breaking, and he responded with a brief blurb on it.
i would do it and make a writeup if i at least had some info to use as a starting point.

I believe he said you'd need a 94-97 accord fan switch. There was another guy that did it, but he hasnt posted since November so I don't think he'd ever get my PM
I don't really care if all the speed settings work or not. As long as it'll blow decently and defrost my windshield, that's what matters.

90-93, but some I've seen only have one "dial" and the fan speeds are adjusted by cables, so I think this one up above came on the LX/EX models.
This girl I know has a 92 LX and it has this climate control.
