Default component speakers clicking noise

I JUST HOOKED UP MY NEW SET OF INFINITY PERFECT 6.1 COMPONENTS!! they sound VERY VERY VERY LOUD, NICE, AND CRYSTAL CLEAR!! theres just a couple of 'semi-minor issues'. with the gain all the way down on the amp there is no noise whatsoever. but when i start to turn it up it'll have a popping noise like 1-2 times a second at a fixed rhythm/rate. it is not loud at all (you can only hear it when the music is muted and it's very quiet) but it IS there. the RCAs are run down the middle of my integra with the speaker wires. the power cable runs through the passenger door sil. is it the RCAs? or could it be that i'm using my amp in 4-channel mode to power ONLY these two speakers which puts out 50 watts when doing so? the reason i can't run it in 2-channel mode to get the 150x2 watts i would've wanted is because the front two channels don't work. the speakers still sound GREAT and live up to their name but I want to turn the gain up some since i'm only giving the components 50 watts!!!

side note:
-the infnity perfect manual said to power it with an amp of AT LEAST 50 watts and can handle 100 watts RMS.
-when the gain is all the way up, the clicking isn't too loud (it can easily be drowned out by the music.. but it IS there!!)
-I LOVE MY PERFECTS!!!
