d-series tranny ?
well i have a 98 EX with obviously a d-series for now. the clutch is getting bad, but also when i go from 1st to 2nd gear i get a slight grind but only sometimes and the clutch is in all the way. is that just becasue of the clutch beign bad? plus if im driving in 2nd gear thru the city or something it will sometimes fall out of 2nd gear and go to neutral by it self, i dont even have to press the clutch. whats the deal with all this?
thx in advance

Sounds like you might need another tranny, or at the very least a second gear and synchro and quite possibly a shift fork.
Oh and of course a clutch.

Honestly the parts themselves combined with the PITA factor make it simpler and cheaper to just buy a low mileage used tranny.
