i am sure the turbo itself will work fine, its more of finding the proper manifold and or flanges to make everything mate up properly.

those turbos are quite small i believe... may not be suited to your setup.. i forget the manufacturer name.. kki or iki or something

there was a post about them in the FI forum a while ago.

Let me chime in here. The 02 VW probably had a K03 sport turbo. Thats what i have on my 04. The turbo is quite small and the max HP most people get out of it is 230-240 with every bolt on out there and high 13 low 14's on the 1/4 mile. Of course the GTi's are heavy *** pigs, almost 3000lbs. I am swapping my turbo out for a T3/T4 setup though. Max PSI is about 22-23 and its efficiency range is about 17 -18 PSI

Just buy a basic turbo kit, cheaper in the long run.

If you're dead set on it, check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com

But I think it would be cheaper and easier to just buy a kit
