Engine spuddering

94 del sol si
bad gas mileage,
spudders at low RPM's

could it possibly be the gaps in my spark plugs? i think they might be too big

What kind of answer are you looking for here bud? My crystal ball is in the shop for a tune up. What is your point gap? More info please.
