Has anyone changed their distributer on their preludes?

Is it hard and is there anything i should know before i do it?

Shouldnt take more then 10 minutes. Very easy... Get a timing gun to redo your timing

 

do i have to redo my timing? i dont have a clue how to do that?

 

Three bolts to remove distributor. Not hard. Honda distributors are keyed to only go in one way. Buy a timing light, there's instructions in the packaging, and search this board. Lots of threads concerning timing. preludes are 15 degrees of advance +/- 2 degrees.

 

pay attion to the way the teeth come out. there is a grove on the cam it goes into and will only fit 1 way.

yes you have to set timing. its easy if no one explains i will when i get home from work.

side note whats your setup? na? tc/sc?

 

3 bolts, 2 plugs.........it really doesn't get much easier than that.
