Default Question for the Experts

I'm installing a JDM 4into1 header on my 2000 LS/Vtec powered integra. And I am using a stock type r b pipe and muffler. My question is how long does the test pipe have to be between the header collector and b pipe. I'm not using the cat this is for off road use. I want to be able to get the pipe made at the muffler shop so I don't have to drive the beast off the header. I'm sure some of you have had a pipe made and know exact length.

Thanks

Its actually close to 2 1/2 (60MM I think) all the way thorough. I just got a universal 2 1/2 in. 3 hole gasket from the muffler shop and it fit to the stock B-Pipe. Its one hell of a bottle neck, but I dont care for street performance....

I got mine from Godspeed. Cant remember how much.

I will get the length..brb!

I have a Spoon header and Godspeed special test pipe. I'm not sure of the exact lenght of the test pipe. I measured the stock cat. converter and it is 17 1/2". If I remember correctly the test pipe was the same lenght as the stock cat.conv.

My question is how long does the test pipe have to be between the header collector and b pipe.
16 5/8" is the length (from flange edge to falnge edge) of the test pipe in my garage.

Used with a stock cat back (ITR) and JDM 4 into 1 header on my DC2-R

Will

Yeh, what he said.

I actually build the test pipes and cats to about 16-7/8". But that is measured from the B pipe flange to the flat surface of the donut, it's a little more accurate to set the length this way then measuring from the flare end of the cat/test pipe since the flare can vary.
