Default another stupid question by me..oem or what

ok now i found my ground wire from my valve cover all corrded and crappy and was wondering if i want to replace it, do i have to get an oem from handa dealer or just get the same thickness wire from a hardware store and replace it...
sorry for the stupid question just want to do things right.

For something as simple as that I would just get one from a hardware store. An OEM one isn't going to be that much better then a any other one

they make aftermarket grounding kits which if installed correctly and replacing all of the grounds, will yield a few ponies.

lol @ grounding wires giving you horsepower.

If its just a little wire for grounding, get some similar gauge wire and some connectors and crimp and install.

this is true a grounding kit will give you hp but 98typesh was saying it dosent take much to do it yourself...get some speaker wire of a heavy gauge or any wire, you can replace it easily and if you want "more power" switch all your grounds with that wire.

i dont care about power now... all i want is to fix this ground wire because it casue my gadge to read that the cars going hot when the lights are turned on .

ok ive called my nearest honda dealership and they said they dont supply it and that i should just check with a mechanic and replace it . so what do u recon guys should i just go to a normal car shop and get one from there...

maybe on cars with shitty wiring...like Suzukis...

just get a similar gauge wire...it's just wire.

i know a guy that "clamed" to gain 5 whp (clamed he dyno tested) on a 99 gs-t eclipse by changing to a thicker ground. but he would never show the dyno sheet..hmm wonder why?

i think the dyno sheets inside the magazines are false advertisement, that claim the improved horsepower, its just to attract gullible people

gaining power is bulshit its prob was weaker from all the electrical problems from the ground. BUT
ANYWAY that frikkkennnnn *****8 8******* wire was the fault ive been look how to fix my so called over heating problem for 6 months and all it was was a WIRE....
one friken **8 ***** **** wire lol :@
But could't do it with out this site cheers boys.....
