Default D series jackson racing supercharger

I did a search and found nothing for d series jackson racing superchargers... I'm really not too interested in getting one, but i'm just curious how they perform on a d16a6? I guess, from what i've found, you can expect 140whp? anyone have one on their d series?

i have the JRSC on my d16a6 and i gotta say it makes my crx a very fun daily driven car. The car makes me crave an lsd. Traction in first is almost impossible on the street unless its blazing out - even on my 205/50/15V Yokohama AO32R's. If I do get traction, im neck and neck w/ Mustang GT's through the first two gears (after that they walk away.) When it was dynoed right after it was put in (with the blower as the only mod) it put out 142 hp and 130 tq. Not huge gains, but the crx's weight makes them seem a lot higher (and exhaust/intake etc will add some #'s). Unless you can run 92+ always, I suggest you get the MSD boost timing master which lets you retard timing from inside the car. This way you can even run 87 if absolutely necessary. Another small thing is after the car hits about 80-90, the boost doesn't seem to help so much (im guessing because the pwr/weight ratio is much less a factor than raw horsepower.) Ill admit, in a straight line its a quick car, but the twisties are where it really shines. Instant boost is addictive, but you wont beat spooling in the 1320+.
