You obviously need to purchase a shotgun and bean bags. That way you won't go to jail when you lose your mind and shoot up the place in a red mist. Cuz I would. Thieves choke on a dick.

finally, someone got some satisfaction and redemption from someone trying to steal their car. now don't get me wrong i don't like the fact that someone tried to steal your car but at least you left them thinking twice before coming back, and made them pay a little in return. glad to hear you still have your car.

F*cking thieves need a visit from the angel of death.

Good job and for once theives got something in return besides a car. Now they have a busted window and you can probably spot them on the road if they dont get it fixed. You should of given them some body damage too. Good thing you still have your car.

GOOD JOB! I had the same type of thing happen to me, I was up late watching football and one of my rottweilers got up for no reason and went to the window and started growling (7months old 105lbs.) I got up and saw some guys trying to get in my 89 4door, So I ran grabbed the 9mm ran let the dogs out, luckily for them the dogs ran them off to their car before I got outside, I would like to get some beans bags for my mosberg 12 gauge, GREAT IDEA! Theives suck on my barrell!

Oh hell yeah!! If thieves are trying to break into your car, does that count as actual "property?" What i mean is if you'd be liable to shoot those sonsofbitches if they're trying to break in, at least in your state?

One of the benefits of keeping your car in a garage.
When they break in, they're technically inside the premises and fair game.
And if you're unfortunate enough not to have a garage, forget the beanbags, go straight for rocksalt.

I remember asking my dad why he had loaded different shells in his big ol 10 gauge shotgun. He said that the first two were rocksalt and the remaining shells were heavy duty buckshot. I asked why and he said if he needed to fire three shots, he was beyond friendly warnings and wanted something dead.

Forget pump shotguns. Too old-school. Go for the Saiga clip-feed. It uses a version of the AK-47 mechanism, so it's dead-solid relibable, too. And I hear it can be converted to fully-automatic, belt-fed as well. Available in popular sizes (410, 20ga, and 12ga). And cheap.

Depending on where you live, you might be well within your rights to just blow them clean away, even if they're not inside your house. In Texas, you have the right to use deadly force to protect your property, even if only from vandals. It's a holdover from the old cattle-rustling laws, where the common logic was "There's more people needs hangin' than cattle need stealin'."

One thing to love about Texas... Touch me, I can kill ya. Touch my stuff, I can kill ya. Oh, and I can carry a concealed weapon or seven as well.

As someone once said, "A well-armed society is a polite society."

Get you a good paintball gun and do one of two things. Freeze the paintballs, or my personal choice use metal ball bearings. A couple of these babys hitting you your going to feel like you were shot. Not to mention the damage it's going to do to your car (got to love that 250ft accuracy range)

Mine stays loaded, just keep the air tank hooked up and a couple of ball bearing loaded in the feeder. Plus mine is semi auto. I can pop out about 8-10 per sec.

Y'know, my plan was always something like this:

Hear noise, grab fully-loaded AK-47 that sleeps under my bed, look out window, size up the situation. If they're in a Honda, I know where the engine sits, and just put a couple rounds into their block. Now that we've established that they're not going anywhere in their car or mine, we'll discuss the finer points of why you don't steal from me, while we wait on the cops to come...

I'm not aiming to blow anyone's head off or anything. If they're already in my car and trying to jack it, I'd sooner put a round into my own block; I'll sacrifice the engine to keep the car from being stolen. Besides, it's easier to replace the engine than to try to find mint-quality Si seats! Plus I'd hate having to clean all that blood and grey matter out of my upholstery and carpet. Nope, quick couple rounds into the block should do the trick. After that, we can talk about who's paying, how much, and how.

Thats funny I keep my AK loaded in my closet too. The first line of my defense is my close range commando weapon above, in case they are up close and personal. The AK is for fleeing or distant trespassers. Then my roomate is always rocking his .40cal glock, he can take pot shots fom the upstairs windows. As soon as I get my CRX back together I want to get a .50cal DE to put under my pillow.
