and one from the front.

It's been a long road but it's finally coming together! The engine turned over successfully on the first try last night, 2 years to the date that the motor officially let go. Can't wait to get the fun started!

It was great to get the phone call last night at 3:30AM that the car was running! Art sounded like a gitty school girl on the phone. It has been a lot of fun to watch this car come together, and also help out with it when Art needed a lending hand, especially when it came to sanding.
Everything on this car has turned out perfectly! The time/craftsmanship that Art has put into this car is outstanding and it was well worth the wait!!!! Great Job Art.

nice ride! some real nice touches on there like the hood with the dzus fasteners. which events are you planning to go to? good luck with this season that car should be one to watch.

I don't even really know what to say. That's why I kept my first post so short. I just know that Art has exceeded all of my expectation's with this car. Everyone wanted to know why it was taking so long, but I think when people see Art's attention to details they will know why.

Yah, we need to thank Tony1 for the dzus and for the speed holes in the hood.
We havn't set up a plan of events yet, but we will go to as many as possible. First and most importantly we need to get it on the track. Art and I still have a learning curve and we need to figure out what works on paper and what really works. Cant wait to get out there though. Its gonna be alot of fun.

haha, the parachute mount is actually removable for street driving. (another Tony touch
) It would be fun to leave it on though! I can't imagine the looks you'd get!

Yea I remember in another post he showed the mount...but mentioned he didn't think he would bother removing it and would like to just roll around with the chute mounted up
Works for me

Looks great Art! Stickerless.... the way SFWD cars should be.
What's that aluminum box down where the A/C compressor should be? Good luck next year. Let me know if you need a test pilot.
