Default K24 with K20A2 Head questions

Hey, Im going to swap a K20a2 head onto my K24 Accord (2003). Will I be able to use headers for an RSX Type S? I know they will fit the head, but will they have the proper clearance and will they be able to bolt up to my stock exhaust?
Same question about an intake manifold. Im thinking about the Skunk2 Manifold. Once again I know that it will fit the head, but what about other clearance issues. Thanks a lot guys.

make sure that you are using aftermarket pistons, and while your in there might as well throw down for some aftermarket rods... the piston dome and combustion chamber are shaped differently and you will have clearance issues!

as for the header, dont count on it bolting straight up... things never work out that easy. you could either get it and try, and then have it modified if it doesnt work, or just get a custom header made by one of the couple companies who are famililar with the engine!

also, you shouldnt have a problem with the intake manifold...

its hard to get a solid answer because no one has really done any of this stuff before. if you are looking at aftermarket parts just ask the maker and see what they say

why wouldnt the header/exhaust fit?

i though the head was same dimensions as the K20A one?

it is jsut the K24 block that is abt 19mm higher...

correct (19.7mm to be exact )

you would only have to worry about header fitment if going from a 2.0 L block to a 2.4 L

so, sorry jsut realised i didnt really answer the question - the k20a headers might have clearance issues, due to the increased deck height.

Toda has jsut released its K24 headers - they look good

that doesnt mean you can use RSX headers... accord headers will work, not rsx headers

they are designed for a different car and a different exhaust system
