Default Gas tank light indicator doesn't work

i didn't sserach yet, sorry about that, and im hurry to work. Anyway here is a brief story. 2days ago i got out of work at 10:15 p.m and turned on the car, after 1 min it chokes and rpm dropped and died out on me. So at the same time, i noticed that gas needle was right on the low solid line mark, but the light indicator wasn't on so i thought i got a few more miles to go but ****.

anyway is there anythign i can do for it? i mean to fix thje indicator

Same thing happened to me before. My fuel meter was just touching the bottom white mark and my car started sputtering and the rpms dropped. It died and I started it a few times, but it died instantly after starting up then it wouldn't start up at all. Low fuel light never came on either.

My 98 EK has one! Gauge was 100% accurate when I bought it, 6 months later and its reading empty when I have a 1/4 tank left. I wish there was a way to calibrate the ******* thing, its just annoying not knowing how much gas you ACTUALLY have and just having to do gas fills by the trip meter.

u can recalibrate the gas needle. remove the gas needle. then go fill up ur car.... DO NOT TOP IT OFF. and reinstall the needle to the Full line.

u said fill up my car and DO NOT TOP IT OFF...what do you mean...most of the time i filled my tank i just wait until the gas pump stop itself. you mean dont squeeze anymore in after the gas pump stopped?

what about the sensor inside the gas tank, i heard something about it
