Default Stripping Gunmetal C8's...

I recently acquired a set of gunmetal C8's for my Teg... I want to strip the paint from them and roll em polished, but I'm not sure what the finish is like underneath the paint... If anyone has stripped C8's before, please explain the apperance of the wheels after the paint was removed.... I know this holds true for Slipstreams, just wanted to make sure C8's had the same finish underneath... TIA...

I have no clue Dustin, just spray them bitches in Aircraft remover and let them sit for a while and then spray off. Keep spraying more on till its all off then polish them up

it takes a little more work than aircraft remover and the design of c8s is gonna fun to work with... its gonna have little white spots on the metal.

good luck but it is possible

Im currently doing this on my C10s! Air craft removal doesnt really work,Theres like a white coating underneath the paint... i had to scrubbed it and still around the edges they wont come off..so im having my buddy sandblast it at school.

i think i am just going to end up painting them.. that way i don't have to deal with the headache of stripping it and getting all the paint and undercoating off...that is if there is undercoating.. don't need to find out the hard way.

As far as I know the only C8s with undercoating are royal sport bronze.
