Has anyone used the harbour freight tubing bender?
I have one and it works very good. You just have to watch what you are doing b/c you can kink the pipe or the rollers can put dents in the pipes. BUt overall it works very well for the money.
Those are pipe benders, they only work with pipe, which is measured with ID as opposed to tubing which is measured OD. Those benders only somewhat work with pipe too, smaller pipe is ok, but you'll probably kink larger piping, like over 1.5". If you're trying to do a roll cage or something, you'll probably want something like a draw bender, http://www.pro-tools.com sells a couple nice ones for pretty cheap (relatively speaking). Those will do tube or pipe or even square depending on what dies you get. I have a heavy duty 105 (which you can find basically the same one thru various companies) that is converted to hydraulic, and it works well. My only complaint so far is that the degree ring that comes with it is not at all accurate, so I have to use a tubing protractor with it to determine angles, but it does do nice clean bends. The hmp200 they sell (another standard bender design) might be a better choice depending, since you can use it with a degree indicator which would probably be a bit easier than the protractor. just my .02
