I have been looking for a civic hatch project for a while now and i finally found a black CX hatch that has been stripped down to basically bare bones.(only paying $150 for the car.) I am going to build up the car slowly and have it done for the summer maybe. There is nothing in the engine bay no accessories or anything. Inside is gutted but the kid has all of the interior basically. I am thinking i now need another civic that is wrecked to take all of the parts from. First off i have to look in the five boxes or parts to find out with i have and what i need. So basically saying HI to everyone becasue im new and saying if anyone sees a wrecked civic for sale for like $300 or $400 bucks PM me. Otherwise i look foward to talking to all of you. O and If anyone Is doing their own swap Around CT i would love to come by and check it out to see what im in for. Later

If you need help with a swap, I'd be more than happy to help you out the best I can. I'm sure my friends would help pending we get fed for the day Your best bet for a swap would be a D16Z6 swap, or a JDM D15B, which my friend actually has for sale, pretty cheap I think. Let us know if/when you get an engine and if you want help.

hey guys thanks for the info. How much does your budfdy want for the JDM d15 and yeah im thinking of turboing the stock d15 maybe. Also i need the passenger glass for a 92 hatch, $50 whhere are you located

 

My friend wants $500 for the D15 with tranny and all that, it just doesnt have an ECU. The motor was in the car for MAYBE 500 miles but had to come out as he was hit by a drunk driver, no damage to the motor though. Its a good deal for a low milage D15, and even if you need a P28, thats maybe another $100 which comes out to be a grand total of $600 for a nice SOHC VTEC swap.
