just got a swap and it wont pass emissions. im way above normal. like in the hundreds. tried everything i could think of
some one told me to change the ecu out, and put the old ecu back in to pass.
would this work?

if they are the same OBD standard than it will probably start it, but it won't run very well i wouldnt imagine.

It will run ok. I dont know if it will help you pass emissions, though.
I've driven my itr powered hatch around town with a dx ecu, before. It runs like normal, just no power.

Did you BAR legal the Swap at a Referee station? Your best bet, to save time and money, would be to find a shop who does it illegally! (150 bonesies)
