Default bad idle, popping, stalling, rich, jerking, everything.

alright. i had the post a couple weeks ago about rod knock on my stock d16y7. since then i've swapped in a 96 b18c1 but have had problems with it.

-when i start the car the tach goes up to 2k rpm then drops to almost zero then stalls out.

-when i give it a little gas while starting, it'll rev up then idle around 2-2.5k for about 10-15 minutes then bog out and shut off.

-when it's idling, if i try to rev it up, the tach/motor goes crazy reving up and down inconsistantly till it shuts off

-when i tried to drive it after idled consistantly for a little bit the car starts jerking and the motor rev's up and down

there's a lot of other things it does but i can't remember it now. the plug wires and distributor have been changed. spark plugs have also been changed and i notice in cyclinder 3 & 4 were wet with fuel but hasn't been a problem since. before this i was running without BOTH O2 sensors and was running rich as hell (backfire, fireballs...was actually kind of cool except for the stalling out from too much fuel) but since then i've put both in. NO CEL.

i've read waaayyy too many idle, bogging, stalling, iacv, fitv, distributor, misfire, backfire, gsr, b18c1, etc etc posts in the last couple days. i can't seem to figure it out and i need the car running by monday. if you have ANY suggestions it'd be appreciated.

the motor is a STOCK 96 gsr (obd2a) running stock obd2a p72 on a 96 hatch using the stock wiring harness.

it seems as if it might be getting too much fuel sometimes. when it idles i can hear the exhaust popping every couple seconds. i also changed the oil but when i check it dipstick it doesn't even register. after putting another 2 quarts, still not registering. not sure if this is related but thought i would throw it in also.

first things first

goes up to 2k rpm and then stalls, could be a iacv sensor failure, but that can't be it. just throwing what i got.

not to bring this back from the dead but you get your problem fixed?? you check the grounds?? especially the ground from the tranny to chassis.. also have you checked the actual sensors.. unscrewed em and looked at em?? I had a sensor on my intake manifold that was burned/broke off..
