I tried to remove my spark plugs to change them and when i tried to take the 1st spark plug out (farthest away from distributor) the spark plug adapter just keeps on spinning it doesnt tighten or loosen the spark plug but it does loosen the other 3. what could be the problem. would it be easier to take off the valve cover and then try to take it out?

 

i just use deep sockets for mine, and they work just fine
