Default How much power to L7's

Hey I just picked up two 12" L7's and I know they are extremly power hungary. Wanted to get feedback on what you powered yours with and what is a good cheap amp. Under 500$ Also should I just sell the L7's and buy a single 15" L7 and put a good amp to it. Thanks oh yeah going into a CRX

i used a rockford bd1000.1 for my 2 L7s and it was great

how loud do you think it was (db's) and did it distort at all????

where my friend works at stereo1, a setup like redline201 had 112 (db). the speaker box took up the entire trunk though

with the gain cranked all the way
0 distortion
