Default D16z6 tranny vs Dx tranny

well i just swapped a d16z6 into my car but still got the old dx tranny do you guys think is a big improvement swappin the si/ex tranny or just spend the money somewhere else

Honestly...no.

I've had both, and I actually went slower with the D16Z6 tranny at the track. It is a good tranny, and emerika saw a great difference, but I didn't. The EX is a great improvement over the 96-00 CX/DX/HX, and 92-95 CX/VX trannies, but over the D15B7 tranny the improvement IMHO was negligible.

yea thats what i though i feel the car moving nice enough for a sohc well actually a lot harder than i thought it would
