doing this for a friend. 2000 civic EX coupe mirror internal structure needs replacing. i dont have it yet, but im going to take it apart to see everything thats needed to fix it.

has the tweeter on the triangle piece, and im wondering the easiest way to take off the mirror.

also if anyone has a driver side power mirror forsale really cheap, the car is silver. doesnt have to be silver i guess, but it would be easier.

Just looked in my helms.

-Put window down
-Remove sail panel (that small panel w/ tweeter in it
-Pull it starting at the top, if dealing with drivers side, theres a clip nearest the door glass, and then 2 L shaped hooks on the bottom

-Undo clip from harness behind panel
-Remove 3 nuts while supporting mirror housing
-Pull mirror from car

Those are basically the Helms directions with a little bit throw in from me.

It doesnt give very good detail, but *looks* like you can pry the mirror off from the housing to get to the innards with a flat tip screw driver, and cushion the mirror with a cloth or rag between the mirror and screwdriver. IF YOU ATTEMPT TO PRY MIRROR AWAY FROM HOUSING IM IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE, DO AT OWN RISK.
