Default Will an auto ecu work in a manual?

As the title says, can I use a crx dx ecu in my std hatch. I know you can't do it the other way around, but will the engine still run fine with it in.

yes you can, i used to do it...you will get a code 19, but you will have a lot more power......not only did my *** dyno tell me so, but soo did every one elses *** dyno...i had several people drive it, with both ECUs and the auto gave more power

Just thought of it, but how would the park feature work since I don't have an auto? In an auto, it won't start unless your in park.

If your car was a manual before don't worry about that. The park feature is actually located by the shifter ( in autos ) and does not deal with the ecu.
