Nice bike, keep her clean and the rubber side down. Don't listen to naysayers...you'll be a greater rider and less of a poser in the long run. Unless you aim to be a poser, then you should have gone out and bought the newest, hottest bike and started to mod it before learning to ride it.

Oh yeah...Some people are ignorant.

Ride safe

i would love to have second bike... as an experienced rider (spare me the flames) to other experienced riders... do you think a 250 would feel extremely weird to me?

It will feel different.. not neccesarily weird. I had a 250 for a short while after riding the r6 and I actually enjoyed the 250 a lot. They are very easy to throw around into and out of turns and it's just a fun bike to ride without the ability to go above 100mph.. no biggie

There is nothing shameful about having a 250 as a starting bike. I sort of wish I did now. I agree with everyone saying to take the MSF because it helped me out in starting to ride. I have put 1800 on my CBR since october but now the ice on the roads is keeping me off of her. Soon if they dry up I will be back out. Ride safe and enjoy .
