I have an 88 crx si with standard brake setup. i was thinking bout converting the back to disk brakes instead of drums? any +'s and -'s? i heard disks were better.

Did it on my 91 dx HB. Pretty straight-forward swap if you get the right part. You'll need the entire rear trailing arm from a 90-93 integra including the ebrake cables.
If you have those parts, it just pull the old, install the new. The integra brakes look a lot better and work better than the drums.
