Default Civic Sold, *PICS* of new car

Well, the B18c1 Si hatch was sold last week...to make way for the beast...

Turbo II RX7 Ls1 powered, 6spd tranny.. 402hp/451tq! (100 shot)

The car weighs 2700lbs, the LS1 being all aluminum is LIGHTER than the rotory engine! You save about 50lbs with this swap. Handling is maintained. The only downside is the out of control low end grunt of the 4.11 gearing, and lightweight car with small tires.

Should run very low 12's all motor, and mid 11's with the spray. With adequate traction of course

I love this Dyno chart...without the spray (all motor)

look how flat and soon the Torque comes in! It peaks barely off idle! And pulls all the way to almost rev limit (6,200)

Hey did you buy the RX7 with the LS1 swap already or did you do it yourself, I'm seeing alot of RX7's poping up with V8 swaps these days. The car looks mint good luck with it.

My friend put his together about 4 years ago. His is a 87 TurboII with a 400 destroked to a 377, it revs to like 8k. Its got about 500hp and he has a 250 shot. He hasnt used the shot on the track but he ran a mid 10 at Empire here in Central NY. Hes also using some sort of Advan tires on it. They give him some pretty good traction.

Correct. Its the C5 Corvette engine, or possibly from a final generation Camaro or Trans Am.
