Default Clutch/Tranny Fluid

Alright I gotta 92 si, so...my question is... are the clutch and tranny fluid the same things to drain and refill? Cuz i know you're supposed to change the tranny fluid through the drain bolts in the passenger side wheel well. So how would you drain and refill the clutch fluid?

there is a bleed valve on your clutch slave cylinder. I drive and integra and my sisters prelude is an auto so im not sure where your fill is. its one of your reservoirs though just read the tops of them it takes a dot3/dot4 fluid, just like brake fluid

Tranny fluid is not the same as clutch/hydraulic fluid.

You use brake fluid for the clutch and tranny fluid in the tranny.

I have a 92 LX that is difficult to get into 1st gear and grinds when put into 3rd. All the other gears are very smooth to get into. I bought it 2 weeks ago and wanted to know if switching to Redline MTL will do me any good.

I have heard of horror stories of the synchros going bad after people put in Redline. Has anyone tried putting Lubegard Gear Fluid additive?

A new clutch kit was installed by AAMCO 3K miles ago by the previous owner where they also put in a reconditioned differential with a new spyder gear. I was expecting the tranny to be shifting flawlessly......but it is not (especially in cold weather). Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using Honda's manual tranny oil in my Prelude.

I have been using Redline MT-90 in my other car for 2-3 years and have had no issues.
