Autometer Tachometer install in a CRX

Default Autometer Tachometer install in a CRX

i need to know if i am wiring up my tach right i had it installed before by a friend so i took it out because something was wrong with it and sent it to autometer to be fixed when they sent it back it had all new wiring

1.black wire is ground
2. green wire is tach signal
3. red is 12 volt power where did you guys put that at?
4 white can that go to the fuse box and hook it to number 8 fuse?
i know it sounds like i am telling some one on how to install this but really i am asking because i dont know and have tried everything maybe i have something wrong.

white goes to parking lights under the dash.

red is 12 volt power where did you guys put that at?

i have instuctions with it but not for a crx i am trying to get opinions on where to hook the red wire and if that does not work i am sending it back

12 volt constant can be picked up from the white/blue wire in your stereo harness amongst many other spots.

i fixed my tach today it was a bad ground.

Have you downloaded the instructions from the AutoMeter site? The Tach signal connects to the distributor BLUE connector wire. Make sure that you connect power (red?) to a switched circuit in the fuse panel. The other wire (white?) goes to the lighting circuit I think. Black is generally ground and you can connect it to the chassis.
