Just use some good mobil or Castrol 10w-30 for your tranny thats basicaly what honda fluid is. You can use synthetic if you would like to..

You can use regular 10-30 motor oil but I heard very bad thing about synthetic motor oil in trannys. If you want to go synthetic use the trick shift because it is actually designed for trannys. I used regular motor castrol 10-30 oil in my old tranny and it held up fine. I do think honda fluid is the best though. If you can't get any where you are I work near a Honda dealership I could pick some up for you and you just pay for it and shipping.

Put the 10/30 in your engine not your auto-trans. If you cannot get Honda ATF do a forum and Google search for the best substitute ATF.

Yup, don't put motor oil in your AUTO tranny. There are plenty of auto transmission fluid substitues out there.
