If you have a vise, snap ring pliers, 4 lb hammer, ball joint press and tools to remove knuckles you can do it yourself. It's pretty simple. Takes me about 1 hour.

I suggest you try it first. If it has to go to the shop remove the knuckle yourself to save some $.

if you have problems post them here

i couldn't get the ball press to work. i used PB blaster to lube it up then beat the crap out of it with a hammer for about 30 minutes until it came out.

The ball joint press is used to install.

Remove the ball joint w/o pulling the knuckle. Known as the "craftsman trick"

1.) make sure the lower control arm is still attatched to everything.
2.) jack up the suspension assembly by the rotor.
3.) insert a 1/2" socket wrench in between the knuckle and the lower control arm.
4.) lower the jack.</TD></TR></TABLE>
