I bought the Exedy replacement clutch and was going to stick with the stock flywheel but was wondering what the weekend autox'ers where using on there cars - looking for best everday driveability and occasional weekend autox'ing

 

oh man, you just missed out on a exedy stage 1 clutch kit with the pressure plate and all bearings and tool AND a 7.5 lb fidanza flywheel. i just bought all of this for 312 shipped to my door step. the flywhell helps revs faster. a lot faster

 

Im rockin the Fidanza Flywheel. Daily driven and weekend Drag car.

 

i have a findanza too. it didn't affect drivability at all.

 

I had my stock flywheel lightened, seems good so far, we'll see if it stands the test of time though.

 

ACT street light here. and it made a nice difference in rev time, though my competition clutch 6 puck chatters like no ones buisness@

Cool thread, I just purchased the clutch/ fidanza flywheel combo, getting it installed the first of next week, I'll let ya'll know how mine turns out...

 

ACT Streetlite here, daily driven; no problems.

 

I second the streetlite or should I say third. I work in SF and there are lots of hills with stopsigns at the top and daily drivabillity is fine.... I had a prolite for around 6 months and it drove fine as well...

i was thinking something along the lines of that, how much did you shave off?

 

sohfast.com sells stock fly's shaved about 8lbs lighter, i used one, worked great. and so did my ACT prolite.

 

I dunno what stock was but it's about 10 lbs now, huge difference in throttle response, I'm happy with it!

 

stock is 18lbs.

 

Go with ACT or Fidanza
