tein experience
i have searched the archives and i have not read anything negative about the tein suspension except lowering too much on an RSX... something about the tie rods... now i am seriously considering this set of coilovers and i would like to know what kind of **** im getting into... if i by the tein... will i need anything else for the install? anything i need to know beyond purchasing the set... please post
i got a set of tein basics after having my ep lowered on stock shocks and neuspeed race springs for over a year.. i love my teins. they ride sooo nice and the height adjustability is easy and great for daily driving and going to the track..
two thumbs up for tein for a sick set up!!

the tein SS with pillowball upper mounts. nice ride, no problems with them being loose or whatever. no issues. oh and they are adjustable damper, height, and front camber. if you lower it alot, you'll need a camber kit for rear. that's it.
thanks guys for all your input... im gonna order them as soon as i get a chance... any sharing of experience installing them would be greatly appreciated
There is one thing u have to think about that nobody tells u.Teins have been known like every coilover to go out occasionally.Teins aren't made in the us so warranty means sending to japan to fix (not usa). This takes months to get i heard.American products are just easier not better.
Tein SS, Progress front and rear sways with tiebars and Mugen-replica upper strut braces front and rear on the DC5 here. Car handles flatter than a go-kart and with the recent inclusion of a Cybernation turbokit, it hauls like a raped ape.

Can you replace or buy just one unit off the set if they do go out?

I love my tein flex's, i had omnipowers and skunk2 and the tein out perform the others with flying colors. The only problem is i broke and EDFC motor on my driverside front strut somehow... Oh well they are only $50 for a new one
I hav the tein-ss with the upper pillow ball mounts, not many complaints except that the damn front right strut is making that damn popping noise. Its an easy fix i heard, just to take it off and tighten the nut at the top, but im just lazy
