Wierd scraping noise when cold
When i'm pulling out of my neighborhood, there is a change in incline of the ground i'm driving on (it starts out going downhill, then the main road is flat), if i go too fast (anywhere over like 10mph) turning left, i hear a scraping sound from the front right area of my car. It never happens if i'm turning to the right. My car isn't lowered or anything, and i only noticed it happening when its cold outside. Any ideas?
nvm about it being only when its cold...it just happened when i was pulling up to my house. I'm going to take the wheel off tomorrow morning and try to look around...thanks
I had the same problem and it turned out to be a heat-shield under the car rubbing on the exhaust which made a funny grinding/scraping noise. It took me months to figure it out..lol
is it like a creaking noise when ur ascending stairs in a house? or is it like metal on metal? becuase it could be ur struts going really bad if its the creaking and if its not its probably your brake dust guards
its not metal on metal...it sounds like something is hitting the ground...
