i need so more info on putting a k motor in a 89 crx

..wiring harness does it jsut plug in or do you have to splice into the wires
..motor mounts cut and welding
..halfshafts? what kind or does somebody make some to fit
..the shift linkage or cable? what do i use
..header use the stock one or aftermarket?
..what ecu and does anything need to be done to the ecu?
..any other info would be nice too little hints anything that you did to your rex to help me out

There is a bunch on info on this swap you just need to search for it. To answer some of your ????'s

1. HASPORT is making a motor mount kit but it WILL include a weld-in mount.
2. You'll need to purchase an aftermarket header to clear the firewall.
3. You need a KPRO
4. Wiring harness for plug & play install will be provided by HASPORT $350 range.
5. HASPORT will offer axles for the swap...$300 range.

K-pro is hondata's reprogramming of the stock ECU (PRB=k20a2 PRC=jdm K20a type R)...K-pro is fully programmable...including cam angles (the "i" in i-vtec)

hope you have atleast $8000...I am up over $10,000 & don't even have it installed yet

search - its all be covered before you'll need everything for a EG/EK/DC + more

to my knowledge only hasport & Pacman has done this swap since there are NOT mounts out yet available to the public...until that happens I don't know how much info you expect to get
