Short shifter w/ gsr swap
i've broken two SS...don't ask me how, they just broke
the B&M broke at the threads, and the other was a generic one i bought off ebay for $25...figures
I have a Skunk2 right now and it's great. I highly recommend it. If you're running a stock exhaust system then get a custom hanger from auto-zone or something b/c it will rub, just replace the rubber hanger near the shifter with one that drops down a little lower to allow for clearance. With an aftermarket exhaust system you won't have to worry about it.

Sorry to thread jack but what do you guys think about a Del Sol VTEC shifter? Mine already feels like a short shifter and feels great, why not put one in your car?
I know that in a VTEC Del Sol the shifter leans towards the driver also.

I had a Skunk2 in my GSR and a B&M in my Civic. Overall I think the Skunk2 was a higher quality setup. Not sure why, it just felt better.
for Skunk2.
for Skunk2.
If you're thinking Skunk2, it'll be a little more expensive than the rest, but just remember, you get what you pay for.
If you're really worried about cost, I could lend you my hacksaw...

i like my b&m a lot. the throw is really reasonable not really short or really long it's perfect. and just the feel of it gives you confidence when you shift.
ive got a b16 in a eg coupe and i use the gsr sts i cut the bearing that came with the gsr shifter and cut the larger side of the gsr shifter (due to the shifter being off set) down the the size of the stock one works like a charm no problems
