Ok i have a 1996 JDM Honda Civic Coupe (EJ7)
I have changed the engine and gearbox to a D16Y6 with 5sp gearbox.
It was a D16B With A CVT Box.

Ok im haveing some probs.
I have changed my engine loom but not my dash loom. But unfortunately the wires in the green plug don't meet up propper.
Half of the plug is fine with both new and old wires meeting up perfect but the other hald does not.

The main problem im haveing is that my car is throwing an errercode 11 now ive done some research and it seems 11 does not exist.

Now i think that i have narrowed it down. On the engine bay loom there is 1 wire that has no parterner wire on the dash loom. its a green wire with orange strip and its in the corner of the green plug. Does anyone know what this is. On a D16Y6 engine loom.

On the Dash loom is about 5 or 6 wires that don't have partnerwires on the engine bay side. Most are pastal colours like pinks etc. Now im not to worried about this as i assume most of theres were for the CVT box. But what i would like to know if anyone knows if the partner wire for the green and orange one could be one of theres.

The auto sparkys told me that my camshaft posistion sensor wasn't working or something. i was a little lost. i assume that this is because that wire from the engine bay is not going to its propper home.

On another topic. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to get my reverse lights working. They only work when i slide the auto gear selector to reverse. (still wired to car) if i join these wires the lights come on full time. It does not matter what gear im in. Very lost here have no idea what to do.

One last question. Once i have located which wires are which in the above qestions. is it possible to move these wires inside the plug by pulling the pins out and relocateing them. Ive looked but not sure if its possible.

If anyone can help its muched appreciated.
Or even tell me how to find some wireing diagrams ive google searched but found nothing.

Once again, car is 1996 Honda civic coupe JDM Ex D16B with CVT box.

which engine computer are you using?

as for the reverse lights, try using the search function. there was a recent thread that went over how to do wire them.

 

Im usesing the ECU that came with the engine loom and the and engine and gearbox. So that shouldn't be a prob at all.
Yeah ive been looking into the reverse lights thing by searching around found out what i need to know i think.

Basicly i really would like to know what the green wire with the red strip is that comes from the engine bay and goes into the green plug. Its in the very corner of the plug. Ive looked round for diagrams but no luck.
