I am rebuilding my head. It has 150K on it and I cant afford to get Valves, Retainers, and Springs so I am only going to get the one I need the most for my application. I hear the honda valve train is very good anyway. I never plan to raise my redline from stock and I plan on boosting 13psi on the street and 16 at the track. Head Reliabilty and Longevity is what is important to me. Thank you
If you only had to pick just one, SS valves. But I suggest you should save up a lil more and get everything installed at once. Most likely you'll probably end up upgrading those items too

just get a stock head for like 150 like I told u.. Build it up later when u can afford it! ***!
Be sure you get ALL STOCK HONDA seals and such for the head. I went through three down times with aftermarket crap on my head.
With the valves, retainers and springs...I would save and get them all. Or at least springs and retainers. Good luck.

IF i were you, i would just save up enough money for everything. Its better to it right once, rather then do a half *** job and then have to redo it again.. Dont rush. Just be calm and use your head. Save up and do everythign at once. I have done half *** job before and then i had to redo it all over again, which cost me more money at the end.
I'd do SS valves on the exhaust side. You don't need stiffer springs or lighter retainers if you are not going to raise the redline.
