spray gun tip sizes

Default spray gun tip sizes

well im getting ready to do some shootin soon but i dont kno what sizes are for what coats.

what size should i use for:
1. sealer
2. primer
3. base coats
4. clears
5. small pearl flakes (mixed of course)
6. big mettalic flakes (mixed of course)
7. kandies?

i used a 1.5mm for my primer and a 1.3 for my metalic base and clear. hth

I use 1.4 for sealer, base, clear and single stage. I think my primer gun is a 1.7.

how big are the flakes? the 1.3 worked great with my metalic base.

i dont think there will be a problem. but im not an expert so you might want to get a second opinion on it.

If its only a small pearl, then you should be fine with the sizes lsintegra9 and I gave. I kinda depends on what kind of gun youre using too.

im using a sharpe cobalt for my primer and sealer

and a sharpe titanium for the rest.

thanks guys so i think ima use a 1.4 for the clear, sealer, and base. then a 1.8 for primer cuz that's what came with my guns

You should be fine. For sealer, solid colors and clear I use a Sata RP digital 1.4. For Metallics, I use a Sata 2000 HVLP digital 1.4. For primer, I have a Sata KLC HVLP 1.7.

maybe...i gotta get my car cut and buffed. then i can get u guys pics of that

then for the car im working on now, i gotta body work, shoot, thne wait, then cut and buff. so just sit tight cuz theres that dam thing called school in between too
