i think i know why my car is making this noise but i figured id ask u guys first, its been about -45 for the past 4 days and i just had a blizzard here, everytime i exit my car i hear a creaking noise identical to the sound u would hear if u were walking on old wood stairs in a really old house, so today afterwork i went and was pushing down on my rear end and it is definatley comming from my rear suspension, so what im getting at is could this just be from all the extreme cold , or could it be from snow and ice or do i have a problem?, cause like 3 days ago the car was at the honda dealership and i got everything looked at and they said nothing was wrong, but i just noticed this noise that night so if anyone has any suggestions that would b awsome.

 

bushings! lubricate them with some crc powerlube!

 

funny i have the same problem with my 99 sh and i did the same thing...k will try lubing

 

i got 2 bad bushings and they are deff louder in the winter...but they got a little quieter with crc....so i'd try that

 

definately lube it up! Mine was doin that too until i tried lubing it up, now its fine. Its just the cold weather
