Default Bench Grinder Pedestal on sale $14

I've had my grinder on a table, moving it out of my way for months, thinking about making a stand "one day." Well, Harbor Freight has stands on sale for $14 now. You can't buy the material for that much money, much less the time to make it.

Just wanted to share a good find with you guys...

Mine is on my workbench but it always rattles anything on there. Might pick one up, but harbor frieght sucks when it comes to shipping. Thanks though

I have the $14 Hf stand, it walks its way across the shop every time I use.
Im too lazy to bolt it down, The Pedestal is far from being flat

They will all do that unless they're rally big or bolted down.

As for shipping, you don't pay it if you pick it up at a store...and if the store has a higher price than is listed on the internet, print out the webpage and take it to the store and they will give you that price.

I have one.. Its not really great.. Its just a pipe with a flat plate on top and some finger feet at the bottom.. Your gettiong what you pay for but you can easily fix the feet with scrap tubing!

Thats the cool thing about HF, I went to Go to buy their tubing beader the Other day and it was $199. I had seen their Price in an ad a while back for $89 and they told me to bring back the Ad and they will honor the price. Now i just have to search for it and I wasnt able to find it on their website.

Did you wind up getting the beader? I've thought about getting one. If you just want yours for one application and decide to sell, send me some info.

My grinder stand works fine...and sits up fine...that's why it has 3 legs instead of 4. Ever notice a 4 leg table will wobble easily and a 3 leg one won't? The stand is not as heavy as what I would have made, but it is plenty sufficient. The top plate and bottom stand attach with set screws...but if that bothers anybody, just weld them on

No I didnt end up getting it. they have it on hold for us once I find out where I saw that price. Its a very nice piece, it comes with many dies. The only purpose i have for it Is to bead I/C pipes.

The Stand I got from them seems like a Pretty stout peice, it has 3 legs as well, they are just all bowed up, the stand pivots around on the center section of the feet. The setscrews have yet to come out. I ended up stashing one of the Feet under my table and Holding it down
