Default here's a pic of the Maximum Perfomance Manifold

A lot of people have been asking about this manifold, so I took a picture of mine and scanned it. Poor quality, but you get the idea. I just finished putting the motor back together, so I don't know the performance gains yet. HTH

That's a tight manifold! Where did you get it, and how much?

Is that a direct port nitrous setup on the intake mani?

Shiet, that's a clean motor.

MP is based out of vegas, They know their ****. Their shop car is a 95 ex coupe with a built, boosted crvtec. It does low 10s and they race it for cash at the races.

is that an HKs wastegate flange that I see? They told me that they will not be selling manifolds with that flange....unless you welded the flange on yourself....

I guess my mind is made up...Do they have a warranty for that thing?

Thanks for the replies

Slow_ass_4dr: That is a HKS wastegate. The manifold comes with a Turbonetics Deltagate flange, but I cut it off and had the HKS flange welded (I have a friend that's a good welder :thumbup I have a friend that also bought the manifold (after he saw mine )and an HKS wastegate from them at the same time, and they put the HKS flange on there for him for free. As far as a warranty goes, I'm not sure if there is one, but the guy I just mentioned had the manifold crack on him within the first few weeks, so he sent it back and they sent him a new one. He hasn't had problems since.

Turbocharged: I bought the manifold from Maximum Performance, and from what I can recall, I don't think I paid no more than $450 shipped for it.

Josh: Thanks man, I haven't heard from ya in a while. But actaully, I did give up. After I get this damn car on the road, I'm just driving it. I was going to sell everything, but I figured I'd lose too much money that way, oh well. Hit me up, "Dievrs" sent me some new tracks.

They know their ****? Are you smoking crack?! Those fools are janktechs AND thieves! Do you know how many times the FBI has shut them down?! Take your car there and watch it get stolen. Oh and those "high quality" manifolds? Ask Henry where he gets them and how much they cost... oh wait he was arrested for having a stolen motor in his girl's car 2 weeks ago...well if you ask him he won't tell you those are str8 made by little Korean children for rice patties, cost less than $50 and don't last very long. That place is a joke, you obviously haven't been to a REAL shop. I don't care how fast their car is prob made up of stolen parts. I personally know people who have been robbed by them and I've seen work they've done....it's unprofessional jank work. No one go there! I don't want to see any Honda-Tech members get screwed.

That is all.......

BTW: The driver of that Civic is Jack ****, he used to own Lotus Motorsports he was shut down for fraud and vehicle theft. Yeah MP is Great......FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!!

Yeah id have to say this isnt the first time Ive heard some not so good things about MP. Anything from overpriced swaps to hot motors to retaking posession on sold merchandise. Personally Ive learned my lesson about relying on local shops out here and Ill never do it again, so good luck to those of you who put faith in them.

I totally agree.
F*CK A SHOP
do it yourself and get all the info off of the net.. it's free and learn so much from it

it's amazing how many people pay the shops to slam a motor into their car.. then a few weeks later, you car and new motor goes missing, then they use that same motor into someone elses car.. and over and over again..

I will be the stupid one and ask....isn't that turbo mounted on backwards...shouldn't the intake should be pointed in the other direction?

Damn...Let me say this before this topic goes any further, I feel like I'm kinda getting flamed, and all I was doing was trying to help people out:

1. I had no clue these manifolds were made by a shady shop, or in a frikken sweatshop for that matter. If I knew that, I wouldn't have bought the manifold. I bought this manifold a year ago, and no one knew anything about the shop. Their ad just popped up in Turbo magazine for cheap equal length manifolds, so I said what the hell, I'll give it a shot. I was using a Rev-Hard Manifold back then.

2. I live in Virginia, so Maximum Performance has never seen my car, nor do they know who the hell I am. With the exception of the pistons/rods (I would have done those too myself, but I don't have the tools to overbore, etc.), I put the whole motor together myself. I do all my own work (building the motor, swapping, "basic tuning", etc.)

MiraiZ: The turbo isn't mounted on backwards, I don't know how long you've been in the "forced induction" scene, but I'm surprised that this is the first time you've seen a turbo mounted in that direction. I can show you plenty pictures of people/pros with their turbo's mounted in that direction if you want.

If anyone has anything else to say or ask, please do, so we can clear this up. Thanks.

I wasn't flaming you, it's not like you knew, you live in the east far away from MP. I was just replying to DeeJay's answer that MP was so great blah blah blah. I hope your manifold works okay for you man, if not, I'm sure if you sent it to imprttunr or infinityminus1 they'd be happy to throw it through MP's window, that's if MP is still around then. Go Luck

nah, I wouldn't throw it through their window. That would be destruction of private property. I would rather stick it up Henry's ***.

sorry if you thought we were flaming you bQQsted... I was just venting my total dissatisfaction with the way MP conducts business.

A word of warning to ALL HONDA TECH MEMBERS!!! do not buy or have work done in any Las Vegas shops WHATSOEVER!!! Everyone in this city is a complete crook and is out to screw you blind. Take your business to California or elsewhere.

Thanks for the replies, I don't feel like I was getting flamed anymore .

B18C-RnVA: I had the Rev-Hard tubular manifold (not the equal length one though). Shoot me an email if you have any questions.

Slow_ass_4dr: As long as you're not bringing your car to them to work on, I don't see anything to worry about. Like I said, my friend is making good power with it, and I guess I'll be the test car. After the car is on the road, I'll hit the dyno and give you guys some results.

hey, I jsut read the new Import Racer magazine and they had a Pink All Drag CRX(from Hawaii) in there with this manifold....They turned 509 to the wheels and ran 10.3 or something like that(don't quote me on the 1320 time though, I kinda forgot)....

I also saw the new nitto 1320...it's Nitto's line of slicks...

Can't wait to try 'em both
