i have a Cx with a d16z6 swap i recently found a Vafc for 100 and decided to bust a DIY since im tryin to learn my question is that my car is throwing codes 21 and 22 im sure its cause of the Vafc but why is it cause i had to ut the VTM cause the vtec wiring goes through the controller before it hits the ECU as well as the motor

 

did you follow the wiring diagram correctly? when you wire it, i believe you're suppose to cut the VTM (blue wire if i remember correctly) and hook up one end while you leave the other end hanging.
