First off, I have a 98 accord lowered on Tanabe coilovers. I had a local, well known shop install them in Aug. '04. Since then I've been hearing a squeaking noise coming almost completely from the rear drivers side. Once in awhile I hear a banging sound coming from the same area. I sprayed some WD40 to stop the squeaking and it worked but the squeaking came back. I'm taking it on on Jan 7th to the shop that installed it to have them look at it and try to figure out what's going on.
From my own visual inspection I don't see anything wrong or out of place. All bolts are tight, nothing leaking from the shock. At first I thought it might be the dust boot rubbing between the coils but after trimming that the noise was still there. I also found out from V6p.net that other people w/ accords were having this same problem w/ the rear suspension and could not pin point the problem.
Anyone know what may be causing this?
