It should be fairly straight forward. Since you have a DX though, you will need to use the plates supplied with the bar to go on the back of your subframe.

ek9hatch: 2 questions. What size rear sway bar is that? Also looking at your install pics it looks like your attached the d brackets towards the edge of the subframe. wouldn't be better to have it closer to the middle? My rear sway bar is right next to the bolt where my lca would bolt upt to the sub frame. Seems like it's be more sturdy there, and the sub frame may be thicker too..

Let me know. thankx

so this was your install?? it is very helpful....the damn instructions with the kit are pretty stupid!

one question though.....when it says "The D-shaped bushing bracket is steel and we had to trim ours a little for a perfect fit." why?? why did you have to trim it? and it looks like your bar fit well with your rear-tie bar....I wonder if I will be able to make mine fit.

I'll let you know if we have any further questions if you can help!
Thanks so much for link

I don't understand this......there is only one place you can hook up the D-shaped brackets, right? there is already one hole in the frame and you have to drill the bottom hole. There's no where else it could go....how did you hook yours up more towards the middle? you must not have a rear-tie bar, but even so?
can someone explain this please? thanks

its a 19mm rear bar and a 21 mm front bar, and we trimmed the metal thing just so it would fit a little bit better, you really dont have to trim it. i am pretty sure the st sway bars will work with any lower tie bar i know that you cant use some lower tie bars with the neuspeed sway bars. if you have any more questions email me and i will get back to you alot faster, i forget where i post sometimes

Well I'm gonna post alike to my site and hope I don't get flamed or called a homo again.

==> http://home.mpinet.net/t-hero/SwayBar!!.htm

If your looking at the 19mm ST bar I have it and the page shows what is needed for the CX/DX/LX/EX 5th and 6th gen Civics and how to install it. With a stiffer set of springs, better shocks you'll have a much better handing Civic without fear of sub frame damage. Mines been on for over a year with many hard normal and Auto-Xing miles on it and not a hint of a problem or cracking.

Thanks for the pic and link, but I have seen them before on SHO a long time ago. There I know you as Nexus242. And no, I will not call you any names.

GEE....you forgot to mention a very important step!!
You have to take the rear strut assembly out so that you can turn the strut 180 degrees to beable to fit the bracket on! of course the ST instructions state this, and its only if your car doesn't come with the factory rear sway bar!
you really need to add that to your install page especially if its for a dx!
