Default 99 ex rear sway bar

just a quick question, i got the whole setup from a 99 si. on the si, the bolts that go into the subframe has 2 nuts welded in from factory on both sides, on the ex, there are just 2 holes. the q is would i just need to get some 8x1.25x30mm bolts, nuts and lock washers? would that suffice? thanks

cool, just verifying that. any issues/problems that you encountered? should just bolt up with no issues? what bolt size did you use 8mm or 10mm ? thanks

Default YES 13mm = no tearout

Easy cheesy install...30min...tops. I'm not sure what size the bolts where, mine came with the sway bar (original owner had it installed on his ex also). Sorry

you can use the itr one but its not as safe as the si one. the gsr/itr ive read will rip the subframe. you have to modify the mount and get the endlinks. the itr lcas are too thin for the ek bracket.

hi just wondering if anyone had any issues with the endlink hitting the exhaust. the parts that hit together are the exhaust and the bolt of the endlink connected to the swaybar.
ive searched n searched but only a few came up that was related and the rest was aftermarket swaybars. THanks

i made my own exhuast w/o any clearance issues. sure you got to correct endlinks for the right side becuase the part numbers are different. i realized that when i ordered them from honda. take a pic of your problem.

im planning to cut the unused portion of the bolt of the endlink and just cut a groove in it so i can just use a flat head screwdriver in replacement of the allen wrench insert. if its a bad idea, just let me know.

i would 1st cut the exhuast instead of the bolt so it doesnt ruin the intergrity of the bolt. at times there is a lot of stress on one side or the other.
