Try contacting the user "kaedingracer3." He is my friend and he just built a really neat setup for his car, using only like 40 bucks in parts.

also believe it or not i see a lot of custom stuff on the carsdomain.com crxs....

if you look past the altezzas theres some interesting stuff there sometimes.

but im sure theres guys on here too, im just not one of them. i do it for a living but i know how easy it is to break into these cars so im not going to bother with that.

Yeah I removed my whole system for that reason (California ). Actually, all I have in the rear of my CRX now is bare metal. I have another truck I can drive, so if I want to have some bass I can always drive it instead.

I built this for my crx a while ago but ended up pulling it because I didn't like having the sub that close to me:

me too - the wall. I had my sub box wedged between the back if my seats, the side of the car and my rear sway bar. dos foot wide shivas frickin pounded. I would recommend getting dampening for rex's unless you go spl. I've also heard of guys fiber glassin' there spare tire well and using that mold to make a box. My 2¢

the mold will be bigger than your spare tire tub....if anything for driver mounting depth. Also, most subs because of driver parameters will require a larger cabinet space.
