custom sub boxes???
i know this is not the best place for audio questions, but has anyone made custom boxes to fit in the back left/right corners of their crx. i've got two HX2's i wanna install in my rex but i want to build two fiberglas boxes for them to set in the back corners. has anyone done this or had it done, any pics available, or hints on dimentions, again they're 2-rockford fosgarte HX2 12 inch subs. any help would be great.
I was an idea I tried when I did my big audio project (up for sale now that rollcage is in!) I ended up coming to my senses and realizing that there is no airspace at all in both rear sides of the CRX. You could have the subs face forward at an angle like \__/ but then you lose around 6dB up front because subs fire out the rear. I ended up with a 5cu ft tube and only 1 sub making around 149dB on 3000watts. If there was a possible way to anchor the subs, the side box idea may work but I think a tube is much much better for a CRX, especially if you still have the hidden cargo cover part intact.
EDIT: I noticed you're in ashland, I still have a custom made 5 cu ft tube (with an Audiobahn aw1205q) that fits a CRX perfectly if you decided you might be interested

Here is the box from my integra back when it was slow.
Fiberglass tub, two JL 8w3d2's, easily duplicated for 10s, 12s, or 15s.
False floor carpeted. Amp hidden under false floor.
