Whats the best paint to use when painting plastic

i want to paint my exterior door handle and mirrors the same colour as my car (EG White) any tips on how to do it would be good to as i have never done painting before

prep the area good, then krylon primer + krylon fusion base + clear works well. i used it on side moldings before and got it to look perfect.

 

it wont peel thats my main concern its balck abs plastic

im in australia so what else could i use

just any sort of auto paints or is there a specific type i should use

 

no it wont peel or anything if you do it right. i don't know what OTC paint is available over there...if you can get krylon fusion that would be your best bet IMO, besides using the factory paint color and a spray gun.
