I loved the Si wheels on my hatch. But I swapped them out for the Rota's. You really can't go wrong with the both of them(Si/GSR). Either one will look sweet.

Go Si's like me. I got mine for only $450 with about 90% tread still on the tires. Best bang for your buck wheel combo IMO!

$450??? thats a lot. they go for $300+. how can it be best bang for your buck wheel combo? its hella heavy. i say 14" HX's w/ Falken Azenis. if you have a GS-R brake set-up get 5 mm wheel spacers. Now thats best bang for the buck using a OEM wheel.

Initial_B: I never thought about that HX/Azeni combo!!! Good ****! Except I am a bit skeptical about 4 HX wheels + 4 new tires + wheel spacers costing less than $450 and I didn't know they made Azenis in 14" sizes.
Is that what you're using? If so, how are those tires holding up? Are they good in the rain?
What mods do you got on your car?

If you get the GSR wheels, be sure to get Honda centercaps. It's kind of lame seeing people driving around in Civics with Acura emblems on their wheels.

I personally like the Si wheels more.

as for now since its rainy season, i'm rollin on 15" black slips with KUMHO's. the rotas actually suprised me because i'm hitting the biggest fricken potholes in FRISCO and still no bends. i'm using kumho's in the rain and its excellent.
your right all together it will cost more than $450 but in my case i already have the HX's. picked em up for $200. i'm just waiting to get my azenis. yes Azenis are made for 14"s and they are only $44.00 each. i'll use that (HX+azenis)as my ghetto combo when i start getting into road racing. i had si's and they are hella heavy. the only OEM 15's i would roll on are the gs-r's from the 96. they are lighter than the other 15's.
my mods on the car as for now is a wicked 8 valve motor and skunk sleeves. i have a couple of B series VTEC swaps chillin in my garage. i am definately getting some real sus soon.

initial_B: Your car looks kinda like mine except I'm rolling on black Si's and your paint is better. I've got JDM ITR shocks, springs, and LCAs installed at all four corners with USDM ITR swaybars front (25mm) and rear (22mm and installed with both Beaks and Prothane mounting kits). This thing is a slot car compared to the way it handled in stock VX trim and inspires more confidence than my M Roadster.
Are you going to the dyno meet on the 20th here in SoCal?
What "real sus." are you getting?

$450 a lot? Not really. Most Si combo's I see run around $400 up. He said tires with about 90% tread left. Sounds like a good deal to me considering the tires run around $120 a piece alone and he is getting the wheels. Name another good looking wheel besides the Hx wheels, which I personally don't like, that you can get for $450 with tires.

96 GSR wheels. They are the lightest of all the GSR wheels.
