Default >>>> Replacement rings for Wiseco pistons ??? <<<

Well I bought a GSR crank with Eagle rods and Wiseco 9:1 81.5mm pistons all used. Plan to put it in an LS block and slap a B16 head on it, but I need to source a new set of rings for these pistons.

Where should I get them and what brand do I want?

Heard some bad news on Total Seal rings...maybe honda rings? Or get some through a Wiseco dealer? TIA

Call Wiseco....I have gotten several sets of rings from them. They were like $23.00 per piston. Go to http://www.wiseco.com for the number.

call race engineering, they will sell you some wiseco rings.

p.s. they are good rings too, nice and thick. and they come kinda pre-gapped, just check the gap size and file if needed.

I just did a search on here for "total seal" and seems like alot of people have had problem with them seating correctly.

Total Seal rings are great rings but from my experiences they only last 10k if your lucky for a street car.
